Formally known as L Candles / Smutty Scents, we are a small local business run by Emily in the beautiful town of Ludlow (UK). We strive to make long lasting, eco-friendly candles and wax melts to enjoy in the home which are made from Soy Wax, hand infused with cruelty free, vegan friendly fragrance oils. 

We have two ranges of candles, those made from upcycled gin/spirit bottles, and customisable jar candles. 

Our upcycled bottle candles have been donated by local restaurants, bars or family members! They are hand cut, sanded and finished so that they are safe to use and have been heat tested. 

Our jar candles are sourced from ethically sound companies, completed with a bamboo lid. Each jar can be customised with bespoke lables, front and back. 

Because we pride ourselves on being eco-friendly, all our candles can be refilled once they have been used. We spent around 6 months perfecting our wax reciepe so that they burn edge to edge too! Orders can be placed through our SumUp website store or in person at one of our markets. We can offer free delivery for local customers, but please get in touch before placing your order for more information.
